The Minox Memo Classic

The Minox Memo Classic Collection is a four-volume reprint series preserving The Minox Memo, a historic publication dedicated to the legendary Minox subminiature camera. Originally published from 1956 to 1972 by Don Thayer Jr. and The Minox Processing Laboratories, these issues document the evolution of Minox photography, covering camera techniques, film processing, user experiences, and technical insights.

The New Minox Memo

The New Minox Memo was a publication of the Minox Historical Society (MHS) and continued the legacy of the original Minox Memo (1956-1972). This publication is dedicated to preserving the history, technology, and culture surrounding Minox subminiature cameras, widely known for their precision craftsmanship and historical role in both professional and espionage photography.

Each issue included a mix of historical articles, technical guides, product reviews, user experiences, and updates from the Minox Historical Society. The journal covers key aspects of Minox history, including the contributions of Walter Zapp, the evolution of Minox GmbH, and the role of Minox cameras in intelligence operations and photography.
