| "Minox Master, Don Krehbiel" - Paso Robles 1997 Camera: Minox B, Delta 100, HC110 Rendering: proof scan with Epson 2450, processed in Lightroom 2 Photographer: Godfrey DiGiorgi Notes from the photographer: I was going to concentrate on submitting three portraits for this last MHS 2010 Photo Contest, Session 4, but time has gotten away from me: I haven't had time to process the images I had in mind properly since I returned from traveling. But I thought, "what the heck, I want to put ONE photo at least in," and what better photo could I imagine than a portrait of my friend and buddy Don Krehbiel, who's website "Minox, Metol & Macintosh" pulled me back once more into Minox photography? It was right about then that the Submini-L mailing list began, and all the friends and good folks of the Minox Historical Society first started to gather. Even better, my last week's travel ... part of which I spent in San Simeon where Don and I went to do some photography just after we finished breakfast in Paso Robles that morning so long ago in October 1997. | |
